Overview

Noisy Creek Campground is a perfect getaway near the shores of Sullivan Lake, just 20 miles from the US-Canada border. Campsites are set back from the lake, but many face Harvey Creek. Beyond the campground are beautiful mountains where hiking is popular. Fishing, scuba diving, swimming and boating are favorite activities.

Natural Features:

The campground sits on a terraced hillside at the south end of Sullivan Lake at an elevation of 2,600 feet. Sullivan Lake spans 1,291 acres and is 320 feet deep. Abundant aspen and maple trees create vibrant colors in the area during the fall. Bighorn sheep can often be spotted in the area.

The 1.1-million acre Colville National Forest lies in the northeast corner of Washington State. The forest's great salmon runs first attracted Native Americans to the area, then miners, homesteaders and fur trappers followed. Its variety of resources and natural beauty continues to attract visitors today.

Recreation:

Visitors enjoy fishing for burbot/ling cod and Kokanee salmon. Sailing, power boating, swimming and water skiing are also available. The 5.3-mile Noisy Creek Trail and the 4.2-mile Lakeshore Trail begin nearby.

Facilities:

Campsites are pleasant, private and within walking distance of the lake and swimming area. Amenities include a picnic area, boat ramp, drinking water and bear-proof garbage cans.

Nearby Attractions:

The lake is 4.3 miles southeast of Metaline Falls, a quaint town with historic buildings, a theater and nearby caves.
