Firewood Notice: Currently, firewood is not allowed on Wisconsin State Park, Trail or Forest properties from out of state or from more than 25 miles away from the destination campground.
In addition, firewood that has been in a Wisconsin EAB quarantined area is not allowed on properties outside of the quarantined area. Please buy firewood nearby or at the property you are going to. Call the DNR toll-free Firewood Hotline 1-877-303-WOOD (9663) for information before packing for a trip.

Attention: Parts of Governor Dodge State Park, including the cox hollow campground and horse camp, will receive an aerial spray treatment to lower the population of the tree pest gypsy moth. We expect the spraying to take place a few early mornings in May or early June . The spray is organic and is not known to be harmful to humans, animals, birds or fish. Noise from the plane may be an inconvenience for campers and horse owners. Spraying is weather dependent. We will update this message when we have more timely information. For more details, Visit
