Alerts and Important Information
All sites on Campers Point are ADA compatible. Camping is allowed in designated areas only. All boats, trailers, rigs and motorized vehicles must fit entirely within the campsite parking-spur provided. Any equipment that does not fit entirely within the campsite parking-spur must be parked outside the campground in an area designated by the park manager. If no outside parking is available, a second campsite must be purchased.

Check-in time is 2:00pm for campsites (local time).

Check-out time is 1:00pm for campsites (local park time). Late checkouts may incur additional fees unless prior arrangements have been made with park staff.

The maximum capacity at each individually signed or numbered campsite is eight (8) people. This typically involves a single camping unit, which includes, but not limited to, a tent, motor home, camping bus, truck mounted camper shell, pull-type camper, or other device designed and commonly used for sleeping. In the event the site is designated as Double Site, the site capacity for that site is doubled to allow for sixteen (16) people and two camping units.

Campfires are allowed in designated areas only!

Pets must be kept on a leash. Please check with destination park staff for local restrictions.

Quiet hours are enforced from 10:00pm to 7:00am.

Fireworks are prohibited in all parks at all times. No Exceptions.

The 12 mile long reservoir is situated among scenic red shale, juniper canyons, and the open prairies of southeastern Montana. This park is loved by Montana and Wyoming anglers, campers, and boaters. With six different campgrounds (Rattlenake, Campers Point, Pee Wee North, Pee Wee South, Sand Point and below the dam) there are plenty of camping opportunities with 156 campsites available. There are a total 73 reservable campsites available in Campers Point and Pee Wee South campgrounds.

Fee Information

Payment in full will be charged to your credit card upon completion of the reservation. A $10.00 non-refundable on line reservation fee will be charged for each reservation.

Cancellation Policy

Campsite Cancellations received prior to scheduled check-in time will incur a $10 cancellation fee. Campsite Cancellations received after scheduled check-in time will incur a $10 cancellation fee plus the first night and usage fees for any additional expired nights of the reservation.

A reservation turns into "no-show" status at check in time on the day after the scheduled arrival date unless alternate arrangements have been made with the park or by calling 208-630-5049. All fees are forfeited when a reservation turns to "no-show" status.

Cancellations received for facilities including Cabins, Yurts and Tepees will incur a cancellation fee equal to the first nights use fee. Facility Cancellations (Cabins, Yurts, and Teepees) received after scheduled check-in time will incur a cancellation fee of the first nights use fee as well as the usage fees for any additional expired nights of the reservation

Group Campsites and Facilities: There is a $50 fee for cancelling your reservation 21 days or more in advance of your arrival date. Group and Facility cancellations made less than 21 days in advance will result in the forfeiture of the first night or facility use fee. Changes to your Group or Facility reservation will result in a $10 transaction fee. To change all the dates of your reservation you must cancel with fees and then re-book. The $25 Reservation Fee is Non-Refundable.
