A non-refundable reservation fee is charged for each transaction.
Reservations must be made at least 3 days prior to arrival.
No tent, trailer, or RV camping is allowed at the cabin site.
All dishes should be clean and put away. All trash must be taken with you when departing.
Staff will inspect the cabin after you leave and additional charges may be applied for cleaning, missing items, or damages.
No pets or smoking are allowed in the cabins.

Description

Ottawa State Fishing Lake and Wildlife Area, north of Salina, offers one cabin that will accommodate up to six guests. Whether a spring fishing destination, a fall hunting adventure, or a summer family reunion, this deluxe cabin is open year round. The 111-acre lake is a short walk and the 560-acre wildlife area provides hunting and wildlife viewing opportunities. The cabin is partially handicapped-accessible, has air conditioning/heat, and is available year-round. It has one full bathroom and one bedroom with a queen-size bed. In the living area, there is a futon and a single murphy bed and set of bunk beds. The kitchen has a stove, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker and filters, toaster, and is stocked with dishes, utensils, and pots and pans. Outside amenities include a covered porch and a patio complete with a gas grill, picnic table, and fire ring. The lake offers excellent fishing opportunities with two boat ramps, several fishing piers, and maintained shorelines for easy access to the lake. Boating on the lake is for fishing only. The area around the lake provides hiking, wildlife viewing, primitive camping, and a group shelter. Vehicle permits are not required at Ottawa State Fishing Lake. KS Refund Policy

Cabins:
Cabins may be reserved from one year to three days in advance. Reservations require a $14.00 reservation fee.
Cancellation 30 or more days prior to arrival date results in a 100 percent refund minus reservation fee.
Cancellation 29 to 5 days prior to arrival results in a 100 percent refund minus one night rental fee and reservation fee.
Cancellation 4 days or less prior to arrival date or after arrival date will result in all fees being forfeited.

Campsites:
Designated camp sites may be reserved from one year to three days in advance. Reservations require a $3.00 reservation fee in addition to the regular camping fee. Reserved sites may not be available until 2 p.m. the day of arrival. Reservation fees are non-refundable.
Cancellation 15 days or more prior to arrival date results in a 100% refund minus reservation fee.
Cancellation 14 to 3 days prior to arrival results in a refund minus 1 camping night and reservation fee.
Cancellation less than 3 days prior to arrival results in a forfeiture of all fees.
Cancellation within minimum window of stay results in a forfeiture of all fees.
Notification of shorten stay within 14 to 1 day of arrival results in a forfeiture of fees for 1 night camping.

Shelters:
Cancellation less than 3 days prior to arrival results in a forfeiture of all fees.
Cancellation 3 days or more prior to arrival date results in a 100% refund minus reservation fee.

Payment:
Payment in full is required at the time the reservation is made.
Payments accepted online or by phone - Visa, MasterCard, or Discover.
Payments accepted at the park office - Visa, MasterCard, Discover, check, money order, or cash.
There is a non-refundable $3.00 reservation fee per campsite, picnic shelter or facility.
There is a non-refundable $14.00 reservation fee per cabin.

From the junction of Hwy 81 and Hwy 106: Drive 6 miles East on KS Hwy 106 to Ottawa State Fishing Lake. Enter at gate with the sign "Uncle Mike's Cabin."

From Salina, KS: Intersection of I-70 and KS Hwy 81 travel North approximately 20 miles. Take the KS-106 Minneapolis exit. Turn east and follow KS Hwy 106 blacktop 6 miles to Ottawa State Fishing Lake. Stay on blacktop to sign gate “Uncle Mike’s Cabin.”
