Find Campsites

The campground at Indian Grinding Rock State Historic Park is fairly small with 22 available campsites nestled in amongst pine trees, cedar trees, and oak trees. Indian Grinding Rock State Historic Park is home to the Chaw'se Regional Indian Museum, North America's largest collection of mortar cups, and California's largest roundhouse still used by Native Americans today. Dogs are permitted in the campground, the paved walkways, and in the parking lot; they are not allowed on any of the trails, on the open grass/fields/meadows or inside the museum. There are no hook-ups or a dump station.

Check the State Parks website for additional information on the weather, suggested day hikes, or to see the park brochure, campground map, park photos, video, and more. Information available will vary from park to park.Click here
