Firewood Alert: Because of the seriousness of a potential infestation from the Emerald Ash Borer, we are requesting that no firewood be brought into South Carolina State Parks from outside of the state.

The Emerald Ash Borer (EAB) is a destructive invasive exotic beetle that feeds on ash trees. Park campgrounds and picnic areas are the most likely areas for EAB introduction into South Carolina. We appreciate your help in protecting the natural resources of South Carolina and our State Park System.

Arcadian Shores Golf Club

This was the very first golf course designed by world-renowned golf architect Rees Jones. Arcadian Shores is a traditional layout with natural blend of beauty and challenge. It features big lakes, deviously placed bunkers, tree-lined fairways, Bermuda greens and distinctive contouring. It was selected by Golf Digest as one of the Top 100 Golf Courses in America three years after it opened. The thirteenth hole is consistently considered to be one of the Best Water Holes in Golf.
