Overview

Description

Foothills West RV Resort--Where adults go to play!

Foothills West RV Resort is an age restricted boutique-style resort. Each site is a very spacious 55 feet deep and ranges from 30 to 40 feet wide, all with cement patios. If you are looking for a friendly, relaxed atmosphere in a quiet neighborhood, then Foothills West is the place to be. The resort's ideal location is just minutes from interstate 10, which means you are just a short drive to all that Phoenix and Tucson have to offer, yet it is nestled in a quiet rural area of Casa Grande County.

The resort provides restrooms with showers for the weary traveler as well as a 24 hour laundry facility featuring coin-less washers and dryers. We provide mail service, including a secure mailbox, and monthly or long-term storage facilities for the convenience of the long term traveler. We are also pet friendly, and have sites set-aside for those who travel with their four-legged family members.

Amenities at Foothills West include a large recreation hall with cable TV, a library, two exercise machines, a big dance floor, poolroom with three billiard tables, a large heated swimming pool with a hot tub, and an outdoor BBQ kitchen with a shaded picnic area. There is an Arizona-style park area that provides 3 shuffleboards, 1 bocce ball and 2 horseshoe pits and a 9-hole putting green.

During the winter season, our guests participate in water aerobics, low impact aerobics, crafts, a computer club, and nine-hole golf playoffs each Sunday after church services. Once a month there is a Saturday Breakfast and on Thursdays you can catch the Casino bus in to town. These are just examples of the many activities you can enjoy during your stay at Foothills West! Come enjoy our friendly, fun-loving atmosphere that will keep you coming back year after year.

Geography:

Foothills West RV Resort is surrounded by the deserts and mountains of the Casa Grande area. Here, there is an abundance of sunny days, dazzling sunsets, a rich multi-cultural history, and friendly residents who immediately make you feel at home. Add this to the areas unique natural beauty where the Old West meets the New West and you have the secret to Casa Grande’s allure.

Casa Grande is a modern city with a rural heritage. Although all the modern amenities can be found in the progressive city, it still maintains its small-town charm and relaxed lifestyle that set it apart from other cities of its size. Founded in 1879 and incorporated in 1915, Casa Grande is the second largest community in Pinal County with a population of nearly 36,000 year-round residents.

Recreation:

The city bustles with activity during the fall, winter, and spring, and is jam-packed with festivals, activities, and fun. Check out the Annual Fiddlers Bluegrass Jamboree, Heritage Tourism Days, Wuertz Farm Family Gourd Festival, Arizona State Open Chili Championship, Cactus Fly-In, Civil War re-enactment, and much, much more. In addition, there is a special series of events specifically created for 55+ winter visitors and area residents, called the Winter Celebration, as it is designed to take advantage of Casa Grande’s seven months of glorious weather.

Of course, there are year-round activities for visitors and residents of all ages such as Skydive Arizona, which now boasts an indoor wind tunnel for the experience of skydiving without actually jumping out of a plane! Casa Grande offers museums, parks, golf courses, a variety of restaurants, movie theaters and more.

An Interstate hub of Arizona, Casa Grande is strategically located halfway between Phoenix and Tucson, at the intersection of Interstates 8 and 10. The city is the retail center for western Pinal County and includes many merchants including national retail chains, smaller specialty stores, antique shops, a beautiful Historic Downtown district, and the Outlets of Casa Grande, which attracts nearly two million shoppers per year.
