However, if you choose to seek out the big city it's just a short drive to the interstate. You can be at a spring training game, the airport, or the symphony in an hour. Spend your winter months with us and discover the amenities and comforts that have made Casita Verde a hidden treasure in the desert.
Casita Verde's cozy Clubhouse is a beehive of activity. The Coffee Club meets at first light over a fresh cup of java. The library down the hall is stocked with great reading materials and puzzles. Pull up a comfy chair in the card room because seven days a week there are games scheduled. The adjoining showers are open 24 hours with easy access from the pool and hot tub area or through the clubhouse. The heated pool and spa feature a great space to relax on one of the many lounges to soak up the sun. Pick up your mail and all the weekly papers in the lobby. The laundry facility has easy access and parking with its own restroom. Next door is the covered picnic area and grills everyone is encouraged to use and enjoy. That's a good vantage point to watch the shuffleboard courts and horseshoe pits for the daily matches. RV Storage space is available for a monthly fee or long term price. The streets are well lit and level for walking day or night. If you've brought your pet we have a wonderful dog walk just beyond the south gate and alongside the many agricultural fields bordering Casita Verde. It's so easy to be a part of Casita Verde, where friends and fun meet!

The city bustles with activity during the fall, winter, and spring. The season is jam-packed with festivals, activities, and fun, such as the Annual Fiddlers Bluegrass Jamboree, Heritage Tourism Days, Wuertz Farm Family Gourd Festival, Arizona State Open Chili Championship, Cactus Fly-In, Civil War re-enactment, and much, much more. There is even a special series of events specifically created for 55+ winter visitors and area residents called the Winter Celebration. It is designed to take advantage of Casa Grande's seven months of glorious weather.

Go west on McCartney Road to Trekell Road. Go south 1.5 miles and turn left at Casita Verde Drive at the gas station driveway.
From Junction 1-8 (Exit 174)
Go six miles north on Trekell Road. Turn right at Casita Verde Drive, north of the gas station driveway.
