Big Bay Campground is located on the shores of beautiful Table Rock Lake, a premier vacation spot in the Ozarks. The facility is oriented toward tent or small trailer campers and offers picnicking, boating, fishing and more.

Natural Features:

A scenic red cedar and hardwood forest covers the campground, which sits in the southern portion of the Mark Twain National Forest. Table Rock Lake spans the southern border of Missouri and the northern border of Arkansas.

Vegetation is maintained between campsites for privacy and to sustain the natural environment. The lake is visible from most campsites and most have dirt walking paths to the lake.


Big Bay Campground is situated on the Big Creek arm of 53,000-acre Table Rock Lake. Visitors enjoy a variety of water activities, including boating, swimming and fishing. The clear waters are home to several species fish, including bass, sunfish, catfish, crappie and other game species.


The campground offers several single-family sites available for tent and RV camping. Each site is equipped with a picnic table, lantern post, gravel tent pad and campfire ring with grill. Flush toilets are provided. No hookups or showers are available.

There is no drinking water available at this facility.

The campground is 30 miles from Eureka Springs, Arkansas, and 40 miles from Branson and Silver Dollar City, Missouri.

From Shell Knob, take Highway 39 to Highway YY. Drive east on Highway YY for about 3 miles to junction of YY-1 and Big Bay Road. Turn left (north) on Big Bay Road and continue down the hill, curve to the right, through the gate and follow the road into the campground.
