This site is only available to non-profit groups and organizations.

Maple Hill Lodge is a historic landmark built in the 1930's. It is an open room with a fireplace, but no furniture, electricity, or showers. Campers must bring their own sleeping bags. Other than the fireplace, no open flames are permitted in the lodge. Cooking is not permitted in the lodge.
Alcoholic beverages, firearms (including fireworks) and other weapons are prohibited.
Key for Maple Hill Lodge may be picked up at the visitor center. Pickup time is 3:00pm Eastern Time. Please note that the gates are locked at night.
Pets are not allowed at Maple Hill Lodge.
Tents are not allowed
Unlicensed vehicles, motorcycles, golf carts, ATV's and mini-bikes are prohibited with the exception of mobility-aid devices used by a mobility-impaired person. All vehicles are prohibited from walkways, trails and other areas not designated for such purposes.
Maximum ot ten vehicles (truck with trailer counts as 2 vehicles).
No electricity in the lodge or bathroom.
Bathroom is detached from the Lodge.



There is a fire pit with four benches outside of the lodge and three picnic tables.
No collecting of firewood allowed.
No firewood is provided. You may bring your own firewood for camp use.
November - February, 8 a.m. - 6 p.m. March, April, September and October 8 a.m. - 8 p.m. May - August, 8 a.m. - 9 p.m. Closed Christmas Day.
Generators are not allowed.

North Carolina state park rules and regulations are posted in each park and enforced by rangers. Violating these rules and regulations is a misdemeanor and may result in a fine and revocation of permit.
State vehicle and traffic laws are enforced, and the speed limit is 25 mph unless otherwise posted.
North Carolina state parks are wildlife sanctuaries; no hunting is allowed and collecting plants, minerals and artifacts is prohibited. State fishing regulations are enforced.
At least one adult 18 or older, must accompany each camper/group.
