Alcoholic beverages and fireworks are prohibited. Firearms are prohibited except for with the proper license.
Pets are allowed except in park buildings, but they must be on a leash no longer than six feet and cannot be left unattended.
Posted quiet hours are enforced. Building fires in undesignated areas is prohibited.
Two tents allowed per site.
Unlicensed vehicles, motorcycles, golf carts, ATV's and mini-bikes are prohibited with the exception of mobility-aid devices used by a mobility-impaired person. All vehicles are prohibited from walkways, trails and other areas not designated for such purposes.

No collecting of firewood allowed.
Firewood is available for purchase when you register for site or you may bring your own.

November - February, 8 a.m. - 6 p.m. March, April, September and October 8 a.m. - 8 p.m. May - August, 8 a.m. - 9 p.m. Closed Christmas Day.
The park gate closes and is locked at night. Access in or out is not permitted during closed hours. Park staff will provide information for after-hours emergency response. Gate closing hours change with the seasons. Consult the park website or contact the park for closing times.
Generators are not allowed.
North Carolina state park rules and regulations are posted in each park and enforced by rangers. Violating these rules and regulations is a misdemeanor and may result in a fine and revocation of permit.
State vehicle and traffic laws are enforced, and the speed limit is 25 mph unless otherwise posted.
North Carolina state parks are wildlife sanctuaries; no hunting is allowed and collecting plants, minerals and artifacts is prohibited. State fishing regulations are enforced.
At least one adult 18 or older, must accompany each camper/group.
