Of course, everyone loves the beach! Wade, surf, boogie board, or play frisbee. Walk for miles at low tide past beautiful rock formations while waves wash the beach. Unwind with a good book and enjoy a glass of wine at sunset.

Another feature of this 50-acre park is a year-round creek graced with many willows, pines, and redwoods. Kids love to ride bikes around the park, explore the creek, and fish from the campground bridge.

Turn your RV into your own beach front home in one of these Northern California campsites. Both RV and tent sites are also available in our "park area," which is sheltered from the wind by large willow and pine trees.

We allow a limited number of tent sites on the beach for a genuine California beach camping experience. Thrill to the sound of crashing waves all night. Of all the KOA's and all the Mendocino camp grounds, this is the only one with its own private beach.

Accommodations: Our accommodations include 75 full hook-up RV sites, 50 tent sites, and 5 group sites. Choose from beach area, creek side and park area. If you are tent camping, choose between shaded creek-side tent sites or camp on the beach. The Westport Beach KOA is a great choice for a family camping vacation, a family reunion, a group get together, or a romantic getaway.

Looking for an easier, no-fuss get away? Reserve one of our bluff-top Mendocino rental cabins! Each cabin has two bedrooms, a full kitchen, and living room. Cabin 1 has a deck with a fabulous view of the bluffs and beach; Cabin 2 has a beautiful yard, great for kids.

Local Area: Nearby, explore the Redwoods, tour historic Fort Bragg, kayak in Noyo Harbor, and enjoy the Town of Mendocino. Ride the "Skunk Train", ride horseback at 10 Mile Beach, or tour the Botanical Gardens, just to name a few of the many activities and attractions that are available in our area.

Amenities Our amenities include a campstore, two restroom and shower buildings (hot showers!), a children's play area, horseshoe pit, volleyball play area, and Laundromat.

Weddings: Our private beach is a popular site for weddings, and there's plenty of space for your guests at the reception in the event tent!
