Due to the potential threat of the Emerald Ash Borer, the Maryland Department of Natural Resources has prohibited the importation of personal firewood into all DNR owned and managed properties. Please do not bring firewood with you from home when visiting a DNR property.

YOUTH GROUP CAMPING INFORMATION:
Quiet time will be maintained in the Youth Group Camping Area from 10:00 pm to 7:00 am. Park gate closes at Sunset.
Located in the lower area of the park with sites 2 and 4. Smallest site. 1- 25'x25' gravel pad. 2-picnic tables. 1-firering with grill attachment. Tent area includes grassy area around pad, above gravel service road and half way between 3 and 4. Restroom share with sites 2 and 4.
The Appalachian Trail passes through the park and offers hiking and scenic vistas. Bikes, horses, and motorized vehicles are not permitted on trail. There is a museum that is open on weekends or by appointment.
Restrooms have flush toilets, sinks, and potable water (No Showers). Restroom is more than 150 feet from site.
Park Day-Use Hours are 8:00 am to Sunset.
