DescriptionWashington Crossing State Park is located along the Delaware River, just eight miles north of Trenton. The Continental Army, commanded by General George Washington, landed here after its historic crossing of the Delaware River on Christmas night in 1776. The cultural, historic, natural and recreational features of this park provide a unique blend of activities for visitors.Recreation:The Park has 13 miles of trails for hiking, five miles of trails for biking, and two and a half miles of trails for equestrian use. Facilities:The Park has a Revolutionary War Museum at the Visitor Center, a Nature Center, and historical buildings. The Park also has an Open Air Theater which offers live performances from May to October.
