DescriptionTranquil Timbers Camping Retreat is your assurance of a vacation to remember! We invite you to experience, the uniqueness that is Door County from this beautiful campground. Tranquil Timbers Camping Retreat is a peaceful place to relax, see nature's beauty and just have fun! We are located on a seventy-five mile long peninsula that is known as one of the nation's premier vacation destinations with 5 state parks and 10 lighthouses! We are adjacent to Potawatomi State Park with beautiful hiking and biking trails and a boat launch.
Tranquil Timbers Camping Retreat offers campers over 250 roomy sites ranging from full sun to lushly wooded and all sites have a fire ring and picnic table. We offer Pop-Up trailers, Cabins and now we have Yurts! The best campground amenities, 48 acres of natural beauty, activities and a warm, family welcome are waiting for you. Leashed and attended pets are welcome at our park.
Door County has over 250 miles of big water shoreline that offers year round fishing with Walleye, Small Mouth Bass, giant Northern Pike, Brooke and Rainbow Trout. This tranquil slice of Wisconsin lies between the sparkling waters of Green Bay and Lake Michigan and we are minutes away from the best boating and water-skiing in the state! This beautiful area offers something for everyone.
There is no better place to begin and end a Door County camping experience than at Tranquil Timbers Camping Retreat overlooking the waters of Sturgeon Bay at the base of the peninsula. Hosting travelers from all over the workd, from May through October each year. We pamper campers of all ages. Our Door County campground is waiting to pamper you!

North on Hwy 57 fro approx 30 minutes. Go past the junction of Hwy 42/57 for 3 miles. Turn left on Cty Rd PD (Park Drive). Go all the way to the stop sign & turn right on Cty C. 3/4 mile to Grondin Rd & turn left.
From Milwaukee, WI
North on Hwy 43 to Green Bay. North on Hwy 57 for approx 30 minutes. Go past the junction of Hwy 42/57 for 3 miles, turn left on Cty Rd PD (Park Drive). Go to the stop sign & turn right on Cty C. 3/4 mile to Grondin Rd & turn left.

North on US 151 approx 49 miles. Take Hwy 26 North towards Oshkosh approx 22 miles. In Oshkosh get on Hwy 41 North approx 51 miles to Green Bay. In Green Bay Hwy 172 East to I-43 approx 5 miles. I-43 North 5 miles to Hwy 57 North Hwy 57 approx 30 minutes to Sturgeon Bay. Go past Hwy 42/57 for 3 miles turn left on PD (Park Drive). Go to stop sign & take right on Cty C 3/4 mile to Grondin Rd & take left.

Hwy 29 East towards Stevens Point 89 miles. US 51 South/WI 29 East 4.2 miles. Take Hwy 29 East to Green Bay 87 miles. In Green Bay Hwy 41 North towards Marinette 2 miles to I-43 South. 5 miles to Hwy 57 North to Sturgeon Bay 38 miles. Go past the junction of Hwy 42/57 for 3 miles. Turn left on Cty Rd PD (Park Drive).
