Camper Cabin Baseboard Heat
Camper cabins have electric baseboard heaters and not well insulated and can be cold. Guests using cabins during cold weather, early spring and late fall need to come prepared for COLD WEATHER CAMPING with sleeping bags, blankets and cold weather gear.
GOLDEN AGE PASS:
Persons 62 years of age and older with Maryland Park Service Golden Age Pass are entitled to half-price camping Sunday-Thursday, excluding Holidays. Display of Golden Age Pass will be required upon check-in. Additional service charges will be applied if unable to provide proof of valid pass.

The consumption or possession of an open container of an alcoholic beverage will be prohibited in all state park areas with the exception of interior areas of full-service cabins, motorhomes, and designated shelters.

The forest land around the campground and day-use area is home to black bear. They have been known to travel through the campground and picnic area looking for an easy meal. Please do not leave any food unattended.
Pets are permitted in the campground and must be under control and on a leash at all times and not left unattended. They are not permitted in the day use area from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day.
Check-out time is 12:00 pm.
A camper cabin has one room and a porch. One set of bunk beds and one double bed. Electricity, picnic table, fire ring, grill, and lantern post. Campers must supply their own linens.

To arrange for same-day cabin arrival, visitors must contact the park at 301-334-9180 (Monday - Friday, 8 am - 4 pm). .

Prices are subject to change without notice and reservation fees, as well as cancellation fees are non-refundable.
Due to the potential threat of the Emerald Ash Borer, the Maryland Department of Natural Resources has prohibited the importation of personal firewood into all DNR owned and managed properties. Please do not bring firewood with you from home when visiting a DNR property.
CABIN LOCK COMBINATIONS:
Prior to arrival at the park, Contact the Park at 301-334-9180 (Monday-Friday, 8 am - 4 pm) to receive the access code to the cabin.
Campers are required to arrive and set up prior to 10 PM. Arrivals after 10 PM will not be permitted to check-in until 8 AM the following day.
VEHICLES & EQUIPMENT:
The number of tents/trailers on each site depends on the size of the campsite pad. All camping equipment must remain on the campsite pad. All vehicles must be parked on the driveway or pad. Any extra vehicles must be parked in one of the overflow lots.
Quiet time will be maintained in the campground from 10:00 pm to 7:00 am.
There is a two night minimum weekend stay (Friday/Saturday) and a three night minimum weekend stay on holiday weekends (Friday/Saturday/Sunday) from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day.
