Description

This major recreation area in the Dartmouth-Lake Sunapee Region offers year-round activities. In the winter, alpine skiing is available at Mt. Sunapee Resort, owned by the state of New Hampshire and managed by the Okemo Mountain Resort. Enjoy hiking, swimming, picnicking, boating, fishing and swimming in the summer/fall months. The campground offers lean-to and platform sites for family camping. Mt. Sunapee State Beach is situated about a mile from the campground and offers many amenities.

SITE FEE COVERS 2 ADULTS AND 2 CHILDREN. FOR ALL ADDITIONAL ADULTS A FEE OF $10 PER NIGHT AND FOR ALL ADDITIONAL CHILDREN FEES OF $5 PER NIGHT ARE TO BE PAID UPON ARRIVAL.

Primitive campground. Check in at Sunapee State Beach. Pit toilets/Out houses and water spigots. NO electricity All sites are either platform or lean to. Pets are NOT allowed at beach anytime, anywhere.
Sites accommodate a maximum of 6 people, combination of adults and children with no more than 4 adults per site.

  • The League of NH Craftsmen's Fair is one of the finest, most prestigious craft events in the country today. This annual nine-day event features both traditional and contemporary fine craft work by state-juried members of the League of New Hampshire Craftsmen. The Fair always begins on the first Saturday in August. It is held at the Mount Sunapee Ski Resort. from Aug 02 2008 to Aug 10 2008
