CampLodge: This facility becomes available in January each year; unlike most overnight facilities, it is not sold 11 months in advance. It is available for rent only during the camping season and requires a two-night minimum stay. The bunkhouse is not a full service lodge. It's a two-room trailer with seven bunk beds, a refrigerator, a microwave oven, a coffee pot, and air conditioning. There is no heating, bathroom, kitchen, or fireplace. Linens are not provided so guests must bring their own linens and pillows. The bunkhouse also has a charcoal grill, two picnic tables, a porch, large covered deck, and tables and chairs. Cooking, portable heaters, and smoking are not permitted inside the lodge. From Memorial Day through Labor Day, camping lodge guests use the campground's bathhouse, which is about 100 yards away. Four vehicles are permitted with rental of the lodge. Cabin cancellation policies apply. The electrical outlets are limited to 50 amp service. Quiet hours are from 10pm through 6am. Only overnight guests are allowed in the park after 10pm. Visitors are charged daily parking, launching and swimming fees.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Non-Virginia residents pay a higher rate than Virginia Residents.
