Shelter 1 (large) - It is riverside, accommodates 50 and is handicap accessible. The shelter, which is octagonal and has 900 square feet of floor area with seven picnic tables, is about 200 feet away from a restroom. There are 29 parking spaces. All shelters have lighting, are handicap accessible, and feature pedestal grills, a water fountain and electricity (a single 15 amp 120v receptacle). Also, all are adjacent to parking. Each shelter guest must pay applicable daily parking or admission fees. If you'd rather arrange to have such fees for your guests paid up-front, please contact park staff before the day of your event. Also, a special use permit and additional fees may be required for any activities other than simply picnicking; call the park beforehand to discuss such issues. No refund within 14 days before reserved date. Before then, there's a cancellation fee.
