Description

Located on the Marjorie Harris Carr Cross Florida Greenway, the Shangrila Campground Day-use area has a large fenced lot with a picnic pavilion. Restrooms and horse wash rack are available. The Campground, which is very popular with equestrians, has 24 pull-thru sites, all sites are primitive. A bathhouse/restroom, dump station and two horse wash racks are located in the campground. A campground host resides year round. There are miles of hiking and equestrian trails. Gates close at 7 P.M. during daylight savings time.

Alerts and Important Information
We are known for our equestrian camping and trails and also hiking trails. Horse sites have tie-outs available, otherwise you need to bring your own corral. Tent camping is not allowed in this campground. It is suitable only for RV or trailer use.

Getting There:

From I-75:
Go west on Hwy 484. After approx. two miles, turn right on Marion Oaks Course. After curve to the left Marion Oaks Course becomes Marion Oaks Trail. Continue approx. six miles, then turn right onto S.W. 69th Court. Continue straight into the Shangri-La Campground entrance.

From Hwy 200:
Go east on Hwy 484. After approx. three miles, turn left on Marion Oaks Trail. Continue to S.W. 69th Court, and turn left. Continue straight into the Shangri-La Campground entrance.
