Know Before You Go

Site

A Private company plans to construct a powerhouse at Dorena Dam this year. The project is scheduled for completion in July 2013. The construction activity is schedule during daylight hours Monday through Saturday. If construction falls behind schedule, there may be work at nights or weekends. Campers at Schwarz Campground may experience some noise disturbances.

Alcohol is prohibited at all U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Dorena Lake lands and areas, this includes Schwarz Park (Campground) and lease areas.

In 2008 there will be a maximum of 15 camping units and 10 additional vehicles. If you plan to have more than the maximum, reserve additional sites.
