SWIMMING
Swimming available at South Beach. A portion of South Beach is protected with Lifeguards from Memorial Day to Labor Day, 11:00 am to 6:00 pm weekdays and 10:00 am to 6:00 pm weekends and holidays, weather permitting. Swimming is permitted when lifeguards are not on duty but is at your own risk. Swimming is allowed only within the roped swimming areas.

GATE COMBINATION:
Contact the park office, 410-974-2149, one week before arrival for the combination to the gate.

FIREWOOD RESTRICTION:
Due to the potential threat of the Emerald Ash Borer, the Maryland Department of Natural Resources has prohibited the importation of personal firewood into all DNR owned and managed properties. Please DO NOT bring firewood with you from home when visitng a DNR Property.
ALCOHOL:
Alcohol is NOT permitted in the Youth Group Campground. Additional Alcohol Policy Information can be found at:

CHAPERONES:
Adult leaders shall accompany the group at a ratio of 1 adult to 5 youth.
PARK HOURS:
Groups are only permitted in the main Day Use area of the park during regular Park Hours. Contact the Park Office for current Park Hours.
TRASH:
Maryland State Parks are TRASH Free. All trash generated by your group must be taken out by your group. Please bring large trash bags to accommodate your group's trash. Park personnel will not remove your trash.
GENERATORS/MUSIC:
Generators or amplified music are not permitted.
PRICING:
Prices are subject to change without notice and reservation fees, as well as cancellation fees are non-refundable.
PETS
Pets are NOT permitted.
