SWIMMING
Swimming available at South Beach. A portion of South Beach is protected with Lifeguards from Memorial Day to Labor Day, 11:00 am to 6:00 pm weekdays and 10:00 am to 6:00 pm weekends and holidays, weather permitting. Swimming is permitted when lifeguards are not on duty but is at your own risk. Swimming is allowed only within the roped swimming areas.
SERVICE CHARGES:
In addition to the shelter rental charge there is a per person facility service charge into the park. ALL visitors are subject to the facility service charge.
Weekends In April/May/September/October, $5/person
Weekends: Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day, $5/person
Weekdays: Memorial Day through Labor Day, $4/person
Add $2.00 for Out-of-State residents.
All other times: $3.00/vehicle

DAY USE TICKETS:
Prepaid tickets for your guests may be purchased in advance of your event by contacting Sandy Point State Park at 410-974-2149. Tickets will NOT be held at the gate for will call. Service charges cannot be paid at the end of the event.
SHELTER HOURS
Shelters are available from 10:00 AM to Sunset. You will not have access to the shelter area prior to 10:00 AM - this includes caterers. Please plan accordingly.

PRICING:
Prices are subject to change without notice and reservation fees, as well as cancellation fees are non-refundable.
TRASH:
Maryland State Parks are TRASH Free. All trash generated by your group must be taken out by your group. Please bring large trash bags to accommodate your group's trash. Park personnel will not remove your trash.
PETS
Pets are NOT permitted.

PARKING:
52 parking spaces. Carpooling is encouraged. Once parking capacity has been reached all other visitors will be redirected to other parking lots.
