2013 Reservation/Transaction Fees:

In addition to the park facility use fee, there is a nightly reservation/transaction fee. Internet reservations, the per night fee is $4.56. Call Center, the per night fee is $4.61. Walk-In transactions at the park, the per night fee is $4.51. Reservation/Transaction Fees are Non-Refundable.


Cancellation Fee Policy Change-Effective May 1, 2013:

To better serve our Maryland Park Service customers, we are changing our cancellation policy to a reservation cancellation service charge of $6 per reservation; except for Assateague Island State Park, which will remain at $6 per night.

Description

So much to see and do here!! This park offers visitors swimming from sandy beaches, windsurfing, canoeing and surf fishing. The park's marina facility includes 22 launching ramps, six finger piers, and a marina store that offers bait, tackle, fuel, snacks, drinks, and limited picnic supplies. The park's location on the Atlantic Flyway makes it a prime bird watching site. Several group pavilions are available for picnic rental. Breathtaking views of the Chesapeake Bay!

GENERAL INFORMATION

Shelters are available from 10:00 AM to Sunset. You will not have access to the shelter area prior to 10:00 AM - this includes caterers. Please plan accordingly.

Amplified music, tents, generators, carnival games, balloons, steel drums and percussion instruments are NOT permitted.

Shelters are not heated or enclosed.

Maryland State Parks are Trash Free. All trash generated by a group must be taken out by group when they leave. Please bring sufficient trash bags. Park personnel do not pick up filled trash bags.

Pets are not permitted in shelters, park buildings, restrooms, or play areas. Please do not bring your pet with you on the day of your reservation.
