There is a partial blue water ocean view. There are two fairly steep service roads that lead down to the beach (approx. 1/8 mile from the campsite). There are 10 standard parking stalls; you can back in or face in. The parking stalls are 20 feet long; therefore, the maximum vehicle length is 20 feet.

Dogs are not allowed on the beach and may not be left unattended. Pay hot showers nearby. Site has 2 fire pits (one standard and one ADA with bench and BBQ grill), 3 BBQs (two medium and one large charcoal or wood), 4 picnic tables, and potable water. The campground is in the city of San Clemente. Stores, shops, restaurants, and laundry facilities are located in town.
