DescriptionSalisbury Beach is one of the state's most popular ocean beaches stretching for 3.8 miles along the Atlantic Ocean. This 521-acre park offers swimming, boating, fishing and camping. The campground offers 481 sites with water and electric, and newly renovated bathhouses. On the beach, three new comfort stations, over-the-dune boardwalks, and a new playground and pavilion area make this a popular ocean destination. The Reservation also has two boat ramps that are located on teh Merrimack River at the campground's southern edge. IMPORTANT: MA State Parks prohibits the transportation of firewood into or out of MA State Park Campground facilities. Arriving customers must get their firewood at the campground. Firewood is available at tthe Camp Store and pricing may vary from other DCR campgrounds. Transportation of firewood into or out of MA State Park Campground facilities may result in eviction, or substantial fine, or both. Services & Amenities:
Alerts and Important Information IMPORTANT: The United States Centers for Disease Control, DCR's MassParks and the Massachusetts Department of Public Health encourage everyone to be safe outdoors. Diseases associated with ticks and mosquitoes are growing threats in Massachusetts. When outdoors, please take necessary precautions as suggested by the Centers for Disease Control. Beginning in 2009 Salisbury Beach customers will see a $2.00 per night surcharge on camping fees. For more information click here. Alcoholic beverages are prohibited in all Massachusetts State Parks and Campgrounds. The reservation must be in the name of the primary occupant. To insure fairness for all MA customers, any reservation with departure dates outside the 6-month Maximum Window cannot be changed or canceled until 18 days after the reservation was made. If you choose to cancel or change your reservation, a $10.00 fee will be charged. The reservation transaction charge is non-refundable. Cancellations made on the day of arrival must be made by contacting the campground and will result in the loss of the first night's camping use fee plus the $10.00 cancellation fee. Fees will be deducted from any refunds due or will be added to future reservations. Refunds of $5.00 or less cannot be processed. If you leave early, please check-out at the contact station. If you are unable to arrive on your scheduled arrival date, you must call the campground. Failure to contact the park by 8:00 A.M. the morning following your scheduled arrival date may result in your campsite being reassigned to another camper and forfeiture of all fees paid. Then take the next right ( beach Rd) and follow it 2 miles to the Park entrance on the right. From Rte. 495: Take Rte. 495 to exit 55 and the intersection with Rte. 110.
