These are primitive, rugged sites for groups , located approximately one mile west of park entrance on Hwy 39C. Follow the signs. Sites are located by themselves. Sites have no water or electricity. Facilities include an outhouse, covered picnic table, and fire ring. Maximum of 3 vehicles allowed. $33 per night.
Consumption or use of alcoholic beverages or intoxicants is unlawful in any public-use area.
From April 15th to Sept 14th, the gates close at 9:00 pm. From Sept 15th to April 14th, the gates close at 6:00 pm. The park office is now located at Florence Marina State Park, nine miles west of Providence Canyon. The office hours are 8 am to 5 pm, year round.
A check-in form with your name on it will be in the breezeway at the visitor center at Providence Canyon. If you arrive after 5:00, follow the instructions on the check-in form, and pay your balance in one of the green ParkPass boxes. A $5 parkpass must be purchased for each vehicle. If you arrive before 5:00, you have one of three options: 1. Pay your balance in one of the green ParkPass boxes, 2. Call Florence Marina State Park at 229/838-4244 and pay your balance with a credit card, or 3. Drive to Florence Marina State Park to pay your balance.
Any device that discharges projectiles by any means is prohibited
Full use fee is required before day of arrival. Please pay in full when making reservation. A $5 parkpass must be purchased for each vehicle.
Pets allowed and must be on a leash no longer than 6'. They must be accompanied by the owner at all times. Pets are not allowed in or around historic sites, cottages, group camps & swimming area. This policy does not apply to Service Animals. Owner must clean up after their pets.
