Site
This shaded site is wooded, with a natural camping pad surface. The double-wide, gravel, driveway is level. This 1,225-acre park offers trails for hiking (9 miles), mountain biking (8 miles), skiing (9 miles, groomed and tracked, most for traditional and skate skiing) and snowmobiles (8.3 miles). A small sledding hill is available near the campground shelter. During the summer months, the park is a base for boating, canoeing, kayaking, fishing, SCUBA diving, and water skiing on Green Bay, but the rocky shore doesn`t have a beach. The two-mile shoreline is dotted with granite boulders, brought from Canada by the glacier. The docks are pulled from the water in early November, and the fish cleaning station is closed.
