ALL (19) OverviewPole Creek Campground is remotely located atop Pole Creek Mountain at an elevation of 10,000 feet. Visitors enjoy the area for its abundant trail and backcountry fishing opportunities.Natural Features:The campground is situated in a scenic lodgepole pine and Engelmann spruce forest. Between the trees, campers have partial views of Pole Creek Lake in the distance. Recreation:Pole Creek Lake is a five-minute walk from the campground, with pretty scenery and rainbow trout fishing. Numerous additional lakes dot the area around the campground, including Rock Lakes and Larvae Lake, both of which offer brook trout fishing. Facilities:The campground contains several single-family sites with picnic tables and campfire rings. Vault toilets are provided but no water is available. Roads and parking spurs are gravel. Getting There:GPS Info. (Latitude, Longitude):40.69722, -110.0625 40°41'50"N, 110°3'45"W From Roosevelt, Utah: Take Highway 121 about 25 miles north to Uinta Canyon.
