YOUTH GROUP PASS INFORMATION:
EACH YOUTH GROUP MUST BE SPONSORED BY A RECOGNIZED ORGANIZATION AND MUST CONSIST OF JUVENILES AGE 17 AND UNDER. IDENTIFICATION MAY BE REQUIRED.

CHECK IN:
MAY-SEPTEMBER- CAMPERS ARE REQUIRED TO CHECK IN BETWEEN 3 PM AND 10PM. FOR APRIL AND OCTOBER ADVANCE ARRANGEMENTS SHOULD MADE WITH THE PARK IF ARRIVING AFTER 4PM. CONTACT THE PARK OFFICE BETWEEN 9AM AND 4PM FOR LATE ARRIVAL ARRANGEMENTS.

YOUTH GROUP ADULT/CHILD RATIO:
ADULT LEADERS SHALL ACCOMPANY THE GROUP AT A RATIO OF 1 ADULT TO NOT MORE THAN 10 YOUTHS. MEMBERS OF THE LEADER'S FAMILY OR OTHER NON-GROUP MEMBERS ARE NOT ALLOWED TO CAMP IN THE GROUP CAMPING AREA WITH THE YOUTH GROUP.

SUPERVISION:
THE MARYLAND PARK SERVICE DOES NOT ASSUME ANY DIRECT RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE YOUTH GROUP. THIS SUPERVISION SHALL BE PROVIDED BY THE LEADERS AND SPONSORING ORGANIZATION.

FIREWOOD RESTRICTION:
Due to the potential threat of the Emerald Ash Borer, the Maryland Department Natural Resources has prohibited the importation of personal firewood into all DNR owned and managed properties. Please do not bring firewood with you from home when visiting a DNR property.

CAMP OFFICE HOURS:
DUE TO LIMITED STAFFING, AFTER LABOR DAY WEEKEND CAMPERS MAY HAVE TO CHECK-IN AT PARK HEADQUARTERS WHEN THE CAMP OFFICE IS CLOSED. CHECK SIGN AT ENTRANCE OF PARK OR CALL AHEAD TO KNOW WHERE TO CHECK-IN. STARTING IN NOVEMBER UNTIL MEMORIAL DAY, CAMPERS MUST CHECK-IN AT PARK HEADQUARTERS FROM 8:00AM - 4:00PM. AFTER 4:00 PM CAMPERS CAN CHECK-IN AT THE SELF REGISTRATION BOARD AT THE CAMP OFFICE. REGULAR HOURS RESUME MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND.

SELF-REGISTRATION BOARD :
FROM MEMORIAL DAY TO LABOR DAY, AFTER 8:00PM ON SUNDAY AND AFTER 4:00PM MONDAY - THURSDAY, THE SELF-REGISTRATION BOARD WILL BE OPEN AT THE CAMP OFFICE FOR CAMPERS WITHOUT RESERVATIONS. THE SITES LABELED ON THE SELF-REGISTRATION BOARD ARE THE ONLY SITES AVAILABLE FOR CAMPERS WITHOUT A RESERVATION. AT THE TIMES WHEN THE SELF-REGISTRATION BOARD IS OPEN, IF YOU HAVE A RESERVATION YOUR CHECK IN INFORMATION WILL BE IN A BOX IN THE SCREENED IN AREA OF THE CAMP OFFICE. CASH AND CHECKS ONLY AT THE SELF-REGISTRATION BOARD.

NO ALCOHOL PERMITTED:
No Alcohol permitted in Youth Group Areas. .

EQUIPMENT/VEHICLES:
ALL EQUIPMENT, INCLUDING VEHICLES, MUST FIT ON THE DESIGNATED SPACE AS OUTLINED IN SITE SIZE. OVERFLOW PARKING IS AVAILABLE IN LANIER LOOP BY THE MUSEUM/NATURE CENTER. MAXIMUM CAPACITY FOR SITE IS 30 PEOPLE.

There may not be lifeguards available during your stay. Contact the Park for lifeguard status.

Campfires in fire rings only. Never leave fire unattended & extinguish fire when leaving.

MINIMUM STAY:
There is a 2-night minimum stay (Friday/Saturday) and a 3-night minimum stay on Holiday weekends, Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day.

LAUNCH RAMP IS AVAILABLE. BOAT RENTAL AVAILABLE MEMORIAL DAY THRU LABOR DAY. CONTACT THE PARK FOR CURRENT RENTAL DAYS AND HOURS.

QUIET HOURS:
Quiet time will be maintained in the campground from 10:00 pm to 7:00 am.

FISHING: A Maryland Tidewater Sport Fishing License is required if you are 16 yrs or older. You can fish at Causeway, Point and fishing pier, all other areas are closed at night. It is your responsibility to know all fishing and crabbing regulations in Maryland.
