Site

There is no vehicle access to the group campsites. Campers park on west side of Highway 1 and walk in to the campground (approx. 1/4 mile) across a seasonal wooden footbridge. No trailers or motor homes can be used at this site.

There are no dogs allowed at the campsite.

Site

Check in at Pfeiffer Big Sur State Park entrance kiosk. Both group camps are 1/4 mile north of the entrance of the park, west of Highway 1 and southwest of the Big Sur River.
Each reservation includes parking passes for 10 vehicles. Additional vehicles are charged per night at the park.
The campground has flush toilets and no showers. Campers may walk to pay showers in the main campground of the park.
Each site has a fire ring, potable water and picnic tables. There is a shared restroom facility with no showers, group picnic/BBQ area, and small amphitheater nearby.
The amphitheater seats 50 people and is subject to reservation for special events (831-667-0158).
