Palm Desert Country Club opened in 1962. Its one of the oldest in the valley. Newly renovation the course includes a redesign of the clubs 18-hole and nine-hole courses. The 13,000 square foot clubhouse is completely new and the golf shop will include some of today's latest fashions. Measuring at 7578 yards from the back tees, the Arnold Palmer Classic Course is the longest layout in the Coachella Valley and is one of the longest courses on the PGA Tour. THE SOUTH COURSE 5 Skins South.JPGThe South Course features one of the most unique and memorable holes at The Golf Club at Terra Lago. Hole # 2 is a narrow par 4 that runs along a wide canal making anything hit to the right impossible to play, as you approach the green you must cross this canal. Rather than a traditional wood bridge the designers decided to add a little flare to the experience by creating a bridge from an old rail car. This hole is affectionately known as the Box Car hole.
