Camp Lodge 01: The Camp Lodge 01 (bunkhouse) is NOT a full-service lodge/cabin; it is bunkhouse faciolity, located in the campground area of the park and guests use the campground bathhouse in Campground C-35 loop. Camp Lodge 01 is open Mar 1 to first Monday in Dec (camping season only); 2-night minimum stay required; no required weekly stay; it is NOT reserved 11 mos in advance since it goes online January 1st of each year; non-Virginia residents pay more than Virginia residents nightly. The Camp Lodge (bunkhouse) is not a full service lodge. Check in 3pm; check out 10 am. The Camping Lodge is a two-room trailer with seven sets of bunkbeds (five in one room and two in the other, sleeping 14); maximum occupancy is 14; no bed rentals. The Camp Lodge 01 does NOT have a bathroom; NO kitchen; NO fireplace. Dishes and silverware are not provided. Cooking and smoking are not permitted in the camping lodge. The two-room lodge a refrigerator, microwave, coffeepot, heating and air conditioning. A small front deck and a large (12 feet by 24 feet) covered back deck with two picnic tables are just outside the building. The transfer deadline policy and cancellation and pet fees are the same as those for cabins. Linens are not provided; guests must bring their own linens and pillows. Guests are responsible for any damage. No cable hookup. Gas and charcoal grills are allowed but not provided. Four vehicles are allowed for camping lodge guests. There's a daily parking fee for any additional vehicles, and those vehicles must be parked in the designated overflow parking area. The camping lodge is in the Campground C area.
