PARKING AND HANDICAP INFORMATION:
All vehicles must park in Parking Lot B. A handicapped drop-off area is located 500 feet from the Trolley Station Pavilion at the Visitor's Center. Vehicles must then immediately be moved to a handicap parking space located in Lot B. North Point staff are happy to provide assistance to guests unable to walk from the parking lot to the Trolley Station. Arrange for assistance in advance by calling park headquarters at 410-592-2897. Kindly call at least 2 weeks prior to your reservation in order to allow us to schedule staff to assist with transportation.

ENTRANCE FEES:
In addition to the Shelter rental fee, there is also a service charge upon entering the Park.
Memorial Day to Labor Day weekends $4 per vehicle. Memorial Day to Labor Day weekdays $3 per vehicle. Labor Day to Memorial Day $3 per vehicle. Out-of-state residents add an addtional $2 to these charges.

Senior citizens 62 and older with MD Golden Age Pass are free. Golden Age Pass requires a $10 fee. Information available at: http://dnr.maryland.gov/publiclands/goldenage.asp

TROLLEY STATION SERVICE CHARGES:

$121.75 up to 100 people

$171.75 from 101 to 150 people

$221.75 from 151 to 200 people

$296.75 from 201 to 300 people

All sale channels (Web/Call Center/Park) charges a non-refundable transaction/reservation fee in addition to the above listed service charges.

TRASH FREE:
Maryland State Parks are TRASH FREE. All trash generated by a group must be taken out by the group when they leave. Please bring sufficient large trash bags to accommodate the groups trash.

ALCOHOL POLICY:

The consumption or possession of an open container of an alcoholic beverage will be prohibited in all state park areas with the exception of interior areas of full-service cabins, motorhomes, and designated shelters. Permits may be issued upon request by the Park Manager for special events operating under a use agreement.

Alcohol permits will only be issued through a reservation for a designated shelter, or other approved facility. A $35 fee will be charged for each alcohol permit and must be obtained 1-day out prior to arrival. Permits may be revoked for cause by Park Manager, their designee or a Natural Resources Police Officer.

Internet shelter reservations requiring an alcohol permit will need to contact the Call Center at 1-888-432-2267, Mon-Fri, 8 am - 8 pm to make your reservation.

VEHICLES:
Vehicles are not permitted at the Pavilion Area. Exceptions will be permitted for one catering or two food/supply vehicles to unload and remain parked at the pavilion area. Vehicles will be let through the gate at 11:00 am and must be out by 5:00 pm.

PAVILION USE/IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

  • Pavilion users are responsible for observing all park rules, regulations and state laws. Regulations are posted on bulletin boards throughout the park. Reservation may be revoked at any time for violations of regulations,. If you have any questions please see a Ranger or contact the park at 410-477-0757.
  • Pavilion use is by reservation only and does not provide exclusive use of the surrounding water access area or park.
  • The person making the reservation is responsible for the following: - the pavilion is clean upon your groups departure - litter in the surrounding area is picked up.
  • Carpooling is highly recommended during weekends and holidays due to limited parking.
  • Moving picnic tables, use of tape or staples, and placement of signs is prohibited.
  • PARK HOURS:
    Park opens at 8:00 am, closes at Sunset. Shelter renters must vacate the park by Sunset.

    PETS:
    Pets are not allowed in the day-use area from Memorial Day Weekend to Labor Day.

    NO AMPLIFIED MUSIC:
    No amplified music. (PA's, DJ's, Radios, etc -- are prohibited).

    PRICING:
    Prices are subject to change without notice and reservation fees, as well as cancellation fees are non-refundable.

    FIREWOOD RESTRICTION:
    Due to the potential threat of the Emerald Ash Borer, the Maryland Department of Natural Resources has prohibited the importation of personal firewood into all DNR owned and managed properties. Please do not bring firewood with you from home when visiting a DNR property.

Modern Restrooms are located at the Nature Center which is open from Memorial Day to Labor Day. 25 ft. to vault toilet. 50 ft. to water access. Along the shore of the Chesapeake Bay.
