Fall and Winter Camping in MD State Parks:
Many Maryland State Parks offer fall and winter primitive RV camping opportunities. Additional information can be found at:
2014 Reservation/Transaction Fees:
In addition to the park facility use fee, there is a nightly reservation/transaction fee. Internet reservations, the per night fee is $4.56. Call Center, the per night fee is $4.61. Walk-In transactions at the park, the per night fee is $4.51. Reservation/Transaction Fees are Non-Refundable.
The Gratitude of Maryland State Parks:
Effective October 21, 2013, Bay Shore Pier (also known as the Crystal Pier) and adjacent waterfront will be closed due to construction. The nearby wooden fishing pier will remain open as an alternative. It is anticipated the project will be completed and the pier will reopen in spring of 2014. Call the park office at 410-592-2897 for more information.
NORTH POINT STATE PARK, MD
Chesapeake Bay beauty and a lovely backdrop for this waterfront day-use park. History buffs enjoy visiting a portion of the Defenders Trail from the War of 1812 located here. Step back in time to the former site of Bay Shore Amusement Park and stroll through acres of Wild Lands. A historic trolley barn is available for rental as a picnic pavilion. A perfect setting for gatherings!

The consumption or possession of an open container of an alcoholic beverage will be prohibited in all state park areas with the exception of interior areas of full-service cabins and motorhomes. Permits may be issued upon request by the Park Manager for special events operating under a use agreement.
Alcohol permits will only be issued through a reservation for a designated shelter, or other approved facility. A $35 fee will be charged for each alcohol permit. Permits may be revoked for cause by Park Manager, their designee or a Natural Resources Police Officer.
Internet shelter reservations requiring an alcohol permit will need to contact the Call Center at 1-888-432-2267, Mon-Fri, 8 am - 8 pm to make your reservation.

The Trolley Station Shelter is available for rental May to September.

From the Key Bridge use Exit 43 North Point Road. Entrance is on the left 1/2 mile past Miller Island Road. Follow the signs for North Point State Park. From Towson use Exit 42 then follow above.
