Rated "Best greens in eastern Carolina" by Golf Digest's "Places to Play" the last 4 consecutive years. Naturally located on a hilly terrain with a wide, unmatched topographical range, the highest vantage points lend a dynamic view of the entire course. Hole designs are 1/2 scottish and 1/2 southern traditional with a couple of holes appearing like those from the mountainous region.
The Timberlake design is reminiscent of the classic Scottish style offering lots of elevation changes and contours, waste bunkers, pot bunkers and grassy mounds. As you play your way through the rolling terrain you will enjoy a series of thrilling challenges and dramatic shots. Fairways and tees are hybrid Bermuda 419 and the greens were sewn with a blend of A1 and A4 Bentgrass, making for excellent playing conditions all year long.
