The Village opened in 1984 and has always been known throughout the industry as the premier RV Park in the Northwest, with 440 wooded hook-up sites. The Village offers a variety of guest accommodations, including nightly rentals in 20, privately owned, fully furnished Cottages, many of which have private hot tubs. Each cedar cottage has a queen-sized master bedroom, full bath, completely equipped kitchen, living and dining room, wonderful decks, and some models feature sleeping lofts. Rental rates vary be the size and amenities of each Cottage. For more adventurous guests, we offer Cabin Suites that are equipped with a mini kitchen, shower, toilet, a bedroom with four bunk beds and a living room with couch, TV and VCR. Rustic Cabins, provide a camping experience at it's best. Fitted with four bunks, guests use the Comfort Stations located across the road for showering, cook on the outdoor BBQ, and bring their own sleeping bags. The Village is a perfect location for large family gatherings, retreats of all kinds or a quiet, romantic weekend get-a-way in the mountains. We are very proud of our 5 Star Woodall's rating, the highest the industry allows. Fun and adventure for all ages can be found within minutes of Mt.Hood Village. A 27-hole golf course, over 700 groomed hiking trails, rock climbing, bird watching, mountain biking, miniature golf, fishing, lakes and streams to explore, and the Alpine Slide are just a few of the activities that abound in Mt. Hood National Forest in the summertime. Timberline Lodge is the only location in the United States that offers year round skiing and snowboarding. The Village is just 14 miles from Ski Bowl Resort, 20 miles from historical Timberline Lodge Ski Resort and 24 miles from Mt. Hood Meadows Ski Resort. Snowtubeing, snowshoeing, snowmobiling, cross-country trails and snowball fights fill our winter season. Welches boasts more than 25 restaurants, from fine dining to pizza delivery, a Thriftway Grocery store, gift shops, antique stores, library, post office, a doctor and dentist and terrific massage therapists! Within the Village, we offer our guests the following amenities and services: numerous trails and streams to explore, volleyball, basketball, foosball, billiards, ping pong, horseshoes, pedal karts, children's playground, indoor pool, saunas, hot tubs, fitness center, mini-mart, Wildwood Cafe, banquet and catering services, meeting rooms, Fax and copy services, and modem connections. Supervised crafts and activities for the entire family are conducted in the Village Lodge on weekends; all you have to do is show up! Our Huckleberry Festival, Wild Mushroom Festival and Salmon Bake Festival, are just three of our regular summer activites presented at the Village and offer fun for every age!
