TENT CAMPING ONLY! This is the Frank Valley Horse Camp, for equestrian camping. You must have horses to camp. Your site is limited to 25 people, 12 horses, and 10 vehicles. One, of the 10 vehicles, may be an RV, with a maximum lenght of 31ft. Gate is locked around the clock for your protection. Please keep it closed and locked. Frank Valley Horse Group site allows dogs on a leash only.

Site

Dogs are not recommended, they are not permitted on State Park trails. Campers should store food in tight containers. For your protection, leave autos locked. Over 60 miles of hiking trails. Approximatly 15 miles of State Park trails are open to equestrian use. Most single track trails are not available. Please contact park directly for more detailed information. Phone is 1 mile from the group campsites. A convenience store is located about 8 miles from the park. Muir Wood National Monument is at base of Mt. Tamalpais.
