Site

Alcoholic beverages, firearms (including fireworks) and other weapons are prohibited.
Gates lock at specific hours posted upon entering the park throughout the year. GATE KEYS AND COMBINATONS WILL NOT BE ISSUED.
Pets are allowed except in park building, boats, and swim areas, but they must be on a leash no longer than six feet and cannot be left unattended.
Posted quiet hours are enforced. Building fires in undesignated areas is prohibited.
Unlicensed vehicles, motorcycles, golf carts, ATV's and mini-bikes are prohibited with the exception of mobility-aid devices used by a mobility-impaired person. All vehicles are prohibited from walkways, trails and other areas not designated for such purposes.

20, 30 and 50 amp service available.
Electric sites: $25.00 per night; $19.00 per night for seniors. Non-electric rates: $20.00 per night; $15.00 per night for seniors. Senior rates apply to campers 62 or older.
Fires are permitted only in fire rings. Firewood is available for purchase from the campground host or park ranger for $4.00 per bundle. Campers may also bring firewood or gather what is dead and on the ground in the campground area. No cutting of standing live or dead trees.
An in-state fishing license is required.
Maximum number of people per site is 6. Campers may not leave site unattended overnight or for more than 12 hours.
Park only in designated areas. Parking is prohibited along road shoulders, in the woods, and on unoccupied sites. Registered vehicles that do not fit at campsites must be parked at the museum.
Quiet hours are from 10 pm to 7 am. Generators are not allowed during quiet hours.
North Carolina state park rules and regulations are posted in each park and enforced by rangers. Violating these rules and regulations is a misdemeanor and may result in a fine and revocation of permit.
State vehicle and traffic laws are enforced, and the speed limit is 25 mph unless otherwise posted.
North Carolina state parks are wildlife sanctuaries; no hunting is allowed and collecting plants, minerals and artifacts is prohibited. State fishing regulations are enforced.
