Alerts and Important Information

Shelter Reservations are non-refundable unless the area is closed by the Department, in this circumstance the Site Manager will contact you prior to your reservation date to cancel and issue your refund.

1. The following regulations must be strictly adhered to, in addition to the other statutes and laws governing the park. Any violation will result in the revocation of this permit and subsequent denial of such requests by the above group in the future.
2. The area utilized for your gathering must be cleaned up and free of debris one hour prior to the posted closing time of the park.
3. All vehicles must remain on designated roadways and must be parked in designated areas only.
4. Alcohol is prohibited from March 1st until the Friday prior to Memorial Day weekend. You must be 21 to possess or consume alcoholic beverages.
5. No ground fires are allowed.
6. Musical bands and loud music of any kind are prohibited.
7. Horse shoes are not allowed.
8. Groups of minors must have adequate supervision (one adult for every 15 minors).
9. Do not nail, staple or tack anything to any post, sign, tree or building, including the picnic shelter.
10. All pets must remain leashed (10' or less) and be under control at all times. Owners are responsible to clean up after their pets, and proof of current rabies inoculation must be obtainable.
11. Generators are not allowed.
12. Any activity having a damaging affect on property or vegetation in the park is prohibited.
13. The use of water balloons is prohibited.
14. The use of piniatas is prohibited.

A responsible adult (18 years of age or older) from the camping party must register for the party and thereby acknowledge compliance with the rules and regulations of the park for the party.
