MOONSHINE BEACH REC. AREA (MO), MO

Description

Open from May 1 through September 15. Moonshine Beach is located on Table Rock Lake just outside the city limits of Branson, MO, on Sate Hwy 165. Moonshine Beach is the only sand swim beach on Table Rock Lake. Amenities include a picnic shelter, playground, sand beach, volleyball, swimming area boat launch, restrooms, and outdoor showers. A special area fee of $4.00 per car is charged.

Alerts and Important Information

No reservations on Holiday Weekends. Special Area User Fee is charged at this park. Fee is $4.00 per car. Shelter Fee does NOT include Special Area Fee. Along with the $75.00 Shelter Fee every vehicle entering the park to use the facilities will be charged a $4.00 Area Use Fee. One picinic shelter is available for $75.00 per day. No reservations will be taken for holiday weekends. Attendants are in the booth 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., Thursday through Tuesday. Gates close nightly at 9:00 p.m. Parking is limited. Carpooling is suggested. No alcohol, pets or fishing allowed in the swimming and beach area. No ATV's or fireworks are allowed in the park. No pets allowed in the picnic shelter, playground, restroom, or picnic area. Swim beach will only be open on a daily basis May 15 through September 15. April 1- May 14 and September 16- October 31 the swim beach will only be open on days that the pavilion is rented. Pets are only allowed in the boat ramp area and must be restrained, on a leash not longer than 6 feet, at all times. No swimming is allowed in the boat ramp area. Special area fee of $4.00 per car is charged.
