Alerts and Important Information
Environmental campsites are hike-in sites. For E1 and E2, vehicle parking is approximately 1/4 mile from the campsites. The campsites are hard to find in the dark. These campsites will accommodate 8 people each. They have pit toilets but no water. Dogs and ground fires are not allowed. Extra vehicle fees are paid at the self-pay station across from campsite two in the Islay Creek Campground. Questions can be answered by the camp host at campsite 22.
Montana de Oro State Park has rugged cliffs, sandy beaches, coastal plains, canyon streams, spring and summer wildflowers and an abundance of wildlife.
