Firewood Notice: Currently, firewood is not allowed on Wisconsin State Park, Trail or Forest properties from out of state or from more than 25 miles away from the destination campground. In addition, firewood that has been in a Wisconsin EAB quarantined area is not allowed on properties outside of the quarantined area. Please buy firewood nearby or at the property you are going to. Call the DNR toll-free Firewood Hotline 1-877-303-WOOD (9663) for information before packing for a trip.

Sandstone Ridge Campground-Sites 58-72(except site 63) are non-reservable and available on a 1st come/1st served basis. All other campsites are reservable from the beginning of May until the end of October. The campground is wooded with a mix of electrical and non-electrical sites. This campground also has our 4 walk-in campsites, 201-204. Toilet & Shower facilities are seasonal and weather dependant but Vault Toilets are available in the campground.
Bluewater Bay Campground- This beautifully wooded non-electric campground is open from Mid-May until Mid-October. Sites 1-15 are non-reservable and available on a 1st come/1st served basis. All other sites are reservable during this time period. Toilet & Shower facilities are seasonal and weather dependant but Vault Toilets are available in the campground.
Cliffwood Campground-This campground is open from the beginning of May until the end of October with all sites reservable. The majority of the sites are electrical and wooded. A few of the sites are grassy with shade trees. Please look at the individual site descriptions for more information. Sites 106-121 and 126&127 are double sites. This simply means that the driveway entrance is shared and the individual sites are a little closer together. These sites are ideal for parties camping together but can be reserved by individuals. Toilet & Shower facilities are seasonal and weather dependant but Vault Toilets are available in the campground.
Group Camp- Our Group Camp sites are nestled in a wooded area by the Bluewater Bay Campground. The campground is open and the sites are reservable from the beginning of April until the end of October. Toilet & Shower facilities are seasonal and weather dependant but Vault Toilets are available in the campground.
Cabin in the Woods- This ADA accessible cabin is available from May 15 - October 15 for persons with disabilities. Click here for information and availability or contact the park directly.

These facilities are weather dependent and dates can change. Check with the property if you have questions.

Water Availability-Water in the campgrounds and at the dump station is seasonal and weather dependant. Drinking water is available at the park office year round from the spigot located next to the soda machines.

Vehicle Admission Stickers- Vehicle admission stickers are required. Stickers may be purchases upon arrival or click here to purchase before you arrive.
Hunting in Mirror Lake State Park- Areas of the park are open for Gun Deer Season, Late Archery Season, some Small Game Hunting and early Spring Turkey Seasons. These areas do not include the campgrounds and major use areas. Gun Deer season will include a 4-day hunt in mid-October with hunting hours ending at noon each day. Please refer to the DNR website or contact the park for specific season dates.

Getting There:

For current Driving Directions please click here. Wisconsin DOT is working on our new US Hwy 12 near the park which has changed a couple of roads that you travel to get here.
