You are about to make a reservation for a DISABLED ACCESS SITE.
Visitors reserving accessible campsites must possess a DMV Disabled
Placard or license plates issued by DMV (or a similar agency of
another state). A Disabled Veterans license plate will also be accepted
when reserving or occupying an accessible campsite. At the time of
check-in, visitors must show the DMV placard. The disabled visitor must
be an occupant of the site for the entire reservation period. No refunds
will be issued for invalid reservations.
Beach access at McGrath State Beach is limited from the campground due to flooding and nesting habitat protection. There is no easy access. To get to the beach, campers will have to walk approximately 0.5 mile or more to get around the inland lagoon.
Fees include entry for 1 vehicle and 1 legally towed vehicle or trailer, additional vehicles will be charged per night at the park. Although your site may hold 2 or more vehicles, your reservation only covers 1 vehicle (except for group or specialty sites).
Your campsite will accommodate up to 8 people and only 2 vehicles in total.
Very limited extra vehicle parking. The park entrance for McGrath is open only during certain hours.
General Information; No launching facilities but boat trailer may park
at site. Sites are 400 yard walk to the beach .
