Description

This popular, 6-acre park offers a precious natural setting within the heart of Lynnwood. The park includes a fishing dock, boardwalks through wetlands, swimming beach, two playgrounds and picnicking facilities.

Snohomish County Parks & Recreation Shelter Agreement: ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES ARE STRICTLY PROHIBITED SCC.10.06.010. 1. Permittee shall comply with Snohomish County Park Rules & Regulations. If at any time any or all members of the group behave in conflict with any laws or park codes, they will be asked to leave. 2. Place garbage in the receptacles provided. No litter producing items, i.e., hay bales, water balloons, or raw eggs. No nails, staples or tacks will be used in shelter wood. 3. Fires will be built in fire pits only; no fires will be left unattended nor allowed to extend beyond the capacity of the fire pit. Special cooking units for the purpose of barbecuing for large groups must be approved in advance by the Park Ranger. 4. Permittee shall maintain control of the group. The area shall be kept clean at all times and upon termination site shall be left in condition as found before event. Non-compliance may affect ability to reserve shelter areas in the future. 5. Reservations are for the shelter only. Restrooms will be shared by the general public. No reservations for parking, (parking is on a first-come, first-served basis only). NOTE: Parking becomes full by noon on summer weekends. Carpooling is encouraged. 6. Permittee must occupy shelter by 9:00a.m. to secure site. If shelter is not occupied by 11:00a.m. permittee may lose rights to the shelter, and forfeit all fees paid. The shelter may be opened to the general public use at the discretion of the Park Ranger on duty. End time on permit is an approximate to sunset. Shelter and activity area must be vacated 1 hour before sunset. 7. There is a $5.00 parking fee for all vehicles (Wyatt, Flowing Lake, Kayak Point, Wenberg Parks) even with shelter reservations. 8. Amplified music is prohibited. No boom boxes allowed. 9. Please do not remove picnic tables from other shelters.

From I-5 take the 164th SW exit; drive eastbound 3/4 mile to the light at 6th Ave West. Turn left and follow 6th Ave West one block to East Shore Drive; turn left. The park is on the right.
