Manchester State Park has 760 acres of beach, dunes and flat grasslands. Five miles of gentle, sandy beach stretches southward towards the Point Arena Lighthouse. One of the main attractions is the excellent steelhead and salmon fishing in the park's two streams, Brush Creek and Alder Creek. The park features a variety of coastal wildflowers, including sea pinks, poppies, lupines, baby blue eyes and blue irises. The park provides habitat for tundra swans. The San Andreas Fault runs into the sea at the park.

Discount Pass must be presented at the time of check in.

Your DMV Disabled Placard/License Plate does not automatically give you a discount on your campsite. You will need to obtain a CA State park-issued Disabled Discount Pass (DDP) or Distinguished Veterans Pass (DVP).

  • Fees include entry for 1 vehicle and 1 legally towed vehicle or trailer, additional vehicles will be charged per night at the park.
  • Group site: Reservations available All Year.
  • Family campsites are available on a first come / first serve basis at Manchester State Park.
  • To book a Group site you must have at least NINE occupants.

Getting There:

The park surrounds the town of Manchester; the beach entrance is A? mile north of town on Highway One.
