All food must be stored in bear proof storage containers (when supplied); Park museum and historic buildings will be open weekends only (Friday-Sunday); and Park telephone is only answered when staff is available-see State Park website for detailed park information. The cabin names are mounted over the front door. Each cabin is 15x20 ft. rustic wooden shelter. Included are two sets of bunks, a wood burning heater, a sink, a table and chairs. Restrooms with flush toilets and running water are located nearby. Bring everything as if you were going camping. Firewood is available at the museum. During freezing weather the water to the sink is shut off and water must be carried to the cabin from a nearby faucet. Electricity IS NOT available! Outside the cabin is a fire ring and picnic table. Cabins are unlocked. Camping outside the cabin is not allowed. All visitors must either self-register or check in with park staff when available. Cabin users are required to clean cabins after use.
