Mackinac Island is the number one destination in Michigan and the Mackinaw City KOA is a perfect place to stay while you are visiting the area.

Free shuttles to the island ferries are available. The nature trail connects to a paved trail into Mackinaw City, where you can explore Fort Michilimackinac, Old Mackinac Point Lighthouse and much more. Or continue on the trail for miles of biking or hiking. Use the KOA as a base camp for a trip across the Mackinac Bridge to Tahquamenon Falls, Soo Locks and the Great Lakes Shipwreck Museum on Lake Superior. Take a scenic drive through the Tunnel of Trees and enjoy breathtaking views of Lake Michigan. You're less than 2 miles from a Lake Michigan beach or a small inland lake so bring your fishing pole, kayaks and canoes. After a busy day sightseeing head back to the campground for a swim in the heated, outdoor pool and enjoy a campfire. There are sites for everyone; pull thru/full hook-up, pop-up and tent sites as well as cabins. Propane, laundry room and free WiFi.
