Overview

Loganville Campground is located in the North Yuba River area, off Highway 49. Visitors enjoy a wide variety of recreational activities in the area, including hiking, hunting, fishing, canoeing and gold panning.

Natural Features:

The campground's two loops are situated in a scenic, dense forest of oak and fir trees, which provide ample shade. One section of the campground meanders up a hillside, while the other lies on level ground.

Recreation:

Nearby activities include fishing, hiking and seasonal hunting.

The scenic and historic town of Sierra City is a short drive from the campground. A variety of lodging and dining options are available.

Facilities:

The campground offers several single-family sites, all of which are designated for tent camping only. Each site has a picnic table and campfire ring. Vault toilets and drinking water are provided.

Nearby Attractions:

Boating, fishing and swimming are available at nearby Sardine Lakes, about nine miles from the campground. Sardine Lakes Resort offers boat rentals.

Lakes Basin offers boating, fishing and hiking. Over 30 miles of maintained trails branch out across the area. Many of the trails are also open to biking and horseback riding.

On the water, visitors enjoy boating and fishing. Anglers will find rainbow and brook trout in many of the lakes throughout the basin. A boat ramp is located at Gold Lake.

Know Before You Go

In accordance with standard industry practices, Tahoe Recreation will be assessing a $5 additional vehicle fee on the "second vehicle" in each single family campsite, and on the "third and fourth vehicle" in any double family campsite, provided these vehicles are not joined to the first vehicle by a hitch and towed onto the site. In the case of motorcycles, the first two are considered to be one vehicle and the third and fourth are also considered to be one vehicle. No additional vehicle fees are collected for bicycles.
Bears frequent the area; all food must be kept in approved containers
Additional $2/day fee is charged for reservations on Memorial Day, Fourth of July and Labor Day weekends
Utility hookups and showers are not available
