Shelter 1, Freestone Point - The shelter, which is near the river and handicapped accessible, accommodates 100. It is about 225 feet from the nearest restroom, 400 feet from the parking lot and 100 feet from the river. It features a water spigot, a large grill and electricity. Volleyball set rental available for an extra fee. The park does not set up equipment, only provides it. Rent shelter 3 for Baptisms as it is closest to the water. Each shelter guest must pay applicable daily parking or swimming fees. Please contact the park prior to the day of your event to make special arrangements to pay for all members of your party at one time. Cancellation fee: No money back within 14 days of the picnic. Please call the park directly to discuss any use of the shelter beyond simple picnicking. A special use permit may be required for other uses and/or fees may be involved.
